WORK PERMIT
REQUIREMENTS
- Duly completed
application from signed by applicant
- Passport valid for no
less than 30 days after the expiry of intended visit
- Payment of prescribed
fee
- Birth certificate
(original)
- A vaccination of
certificate, (if traveled through a yellow fever endemic countries)
- Proof of financial
means in the form of original Bank Statement or cash available, or
traveler’s cheques to cover expenses until the applicant receives a
salary
- Repatriation
guarantee equivalent to the value to a return air ticket.
- Medical and
Radiological Reports
- Police clearance in
respect of each country in which the applicant resided since the age of 18
years for 12 months or longer
- Contract of
employment signed by both applicant and employer
- Original proof
qualification and evaluation thereof by the
- Qualification
attested by Higher Education Commission (HEC) and Ministry of Foreign
Affairs
- Translation into one
of the official languages of all documentation by a sworn translator (proof
of registration of translator)
- Certification by the
Department of Labour or extract for the database for a benchmarking
organization stipulating the salary earned by employees occupying similar
positions in the RSA
- Submission of the
original advertisement in the national printed media:
1.
Reflecting
the full particulars of the relevant newspaper or magazine as well as the dates
in which the advertisement was published
2.
Stipulate
the minimum qualification and experience required to fill the position
3.
Clearly
define the position offered and the duties to be performed
4.
Measure at
least 60 millimetres by 60 millimetres
5.
State the
closing date for the application in the advertisement; and
6.
Not older
than three months at the time of application which period shall be calculated
from the closing date for applications
- Proof of short listed
candidates who were interviewed for the same position
- A letter of
motivation from the employer
- Undertaking to
register with the professional body, board of council in the Republic
where applicable
- Letter of
registration, where required by law from the relevant professional
body/board/council
- Full particulars of
employer and proof of registration with the Registrar of Companied
Application
can be obtained and submitted at any TCS courier company and the fees should be
paid Standard Chartered Bank.
NB – Applications submitted
without the required documents as mentioned above will be refused due to
incomplete documents.

application. Any inquiry prior to normal
processing time will not be entertained and emergency cases will be analyzed
and dealt with accordingly. The mission will make contact with the applicants
