BUSINESS PERMIT (INVESTING IN AN EXISTING BUSINESS)

 

 

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Duly completed application from signed by applicant
  • Passport valid for no less than 30 days after the expiry of intended visit
  • Payment of prescribed fee
  • Birth certificate (original)
  • A vaccination of certificate, (if traveled through a yellow fever endemic countries)
  • Proof of financial means in the form of Bank Statement or cash available, or traveler’s cheques to cover expenses during the start up of the business in the Republic
  • Chartered accountant certificate to the effect that an amount of R2,5 million will be invested and which may be
  • Either cash amount or a capital contribution of at least R2,5       million or
  • At least R2 million in cash and capital contribution of at least 500 000
  • Proof of financial/capital contribution which originated from abroad and as prescribed (2,5 million)
  • Partnership Agreement
  • Financial year of the preceding financial year
  • The money should originating from abroad and to be invested as part of the book value of the business
  • a business permit must submit , Business plan outlining feasibility of the business both in the short and long term;
  • Proof that the business contributes to the geographical spread of economy activity
  • Proof or undertaking that at least five citizens or permanent resident will be employed
  • Proof of the export potential of the business, if applicable
  • Proof of entrepreneurial skills
  • Where the application is in respect of an investment in an existing business, a partnership agreement and audited financial statements in respect of the preceding financial year shall be submitted
  • Proof or undertaking of registration with the South African Revenue Service
  • Undertaking to register with the appropriate relevant body, board council if applicable
  • Medical and Radiological Reports
  • Birth certificate
  • A police clearance certificate n respect of each country in which the applicant resided since the age of 18 years for 12 months or longer
  • A yellow fever vaccination certificate if he or she travelled from or through a yellow fever belt area: provided that the certificate shall not be required in direct transit through such area or where an application is made in the republic
  • A deposit (50 000 rupees )

 

NB – Applications submitted without the required documents as mentioned above will be refused due to incomplete documents.

 

In case of any inquiry at relevant Pakistan department the duration might be longer than the normal processing time

 

In case of interviews the processing time might take longer than normal processing time

 

No information can be disclosed to any person (including sponsors) other the applicant him/herself

 

Note: All supporting documents should be submitted together with the applications, as no faxes will be accepted

 

Fees (Rs 7 900) are paid at Standard Chartered Bank in Pakistan. 

 

A minimum of 30 working days to consider and process visa applications.  Any inquiry prior to normal processing time will not be entertained and emergency cases will be analyzed and dealt with accordingly. The mission will make contact with the applicants directly if needs more information.
